About Wentworth Photograph
Ty Bass, CPP, Cr.
CPP: Certified Professional Photographer as approved by The Professional Photographers of America, the world's largest association of its kind. In order to become Certified, one must have been a working professional photographer for at least two years before making application, pass an exhaustive written test and have 20 images approved by two panels of accredited judges. Every five years, those who have been awarded the degree of CPP must re-certify to show they have been actively pursuing further education and prove it by submitting classes, courses and seminars taken as well as submitting 20 more images. Mr. Bass is proud to have passed the initial process and re-certification the first time around.
Cr: Craftsman Degree This is awarded by the Professional Photographers of America to those members who have "given back" to the profession through coaching/mentoring, teaching classes and seminars, writing articles for publication, participating on the boards of local, state and national PPA boards of directors, judging for the association &/or other organizations who hold photography competitions as well as other activities that benefit Photography. Mr. Bass has done all of that and continues to do so.
When he was nine years old, his father gave him a Brownie Hawkeye camera and he has taken pictures ever since using bigger and more elaborate equipment.
